      Travis Gordon Putnam,
      41, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Providence Portland Medical Center.
      Travis was born in Hood River, Ore., on Dec. 3, 1973, His primary residence over the years
      has been Hood River and The Dalles.
      Travis fathered and Jody Bell gave birth to in 1993 his surviving daughter, Alanna Putnam,
      of The Dalles, Ore. He is also survived by his parents, Gordon and Vicki (Gehrig) Putnam,
      of Hood River, Ore., and Abby Brown Putnam, of The Dalles; brother, James Putnam, of The Dalles;
      grandmother, Patricia Carney Putnam, of Phoenix, Ariz.; aunts, uncles, cousins and
      other distant family and many friends.
      In his school days wrestling and football were his favorite sports, he excelled in both.
      As to the outdoors, he loved fishing and hunting, and teaching his daughter to fish and
      with her when she caught her first! Travis also had a love for all animals, but especially dogs.
      In 2002, Travis was in a diving accident that left him a quadriplegic.
      He faced this adversity with courage, honor and dignity. He wore a cap that read “FBI” which stood for
      “Firm Believer In CHRIST” these were words he believed in.
      “I Love You” was always what you heard as his final salutation.
      “TRAVIS WE LOVE YOU, TOO!”
