Steven Kieth Hurley, 82, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Steve was born on July 26, 1943, to Woodrow and Laura Hurley. After graduating high school in Oswego, Kansas, Steve served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After serving he returned and drove semi-trucks. He would marry Patricia Carson on February 14, 1999, in Miami, Oklahoma. Together they would spend many wonderful years together until her passing in 2021. When he was not working Steve enjoyed going for rides in the country, riding his motorcycle, watching eagle's nests, and being on his boat fishing. Steve is preceded in passing by his parents, Woodrow and Laura Hurley, wife, Patricia Hurley, daughter, Kathy Smith, and grandson, Shane Smith. Those left to share the memory of Mr. Hurley include his siblings, Patricia, Bill, and Dan, thirteen grandchildren, and multiple great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Resource: Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service |
