      Shannon Marie White,
      47, of Miami, OK, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Mercy Hospital
      in Joplin, MO. Shannon was born December 5, 1968 in Claremore, OK
      to Byron “Butch” and Linda (Logan) Knox.
      She had lived in the Miami area all of her life.
      She was a 1987 graduate of Commerce High School.
      Shannon was a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma,
      where she worked for the Indian Child Welfare Division and
      currently for Child Care Development.
      Shannon was preceded in death by her father Butch Knox and her grandparents.
      She married Jeff White on April 17, 1987 at Commerce, OK. He survives of the home.
      Additional survivors include her son, Heath White and his wife Tiffany of Miami, OK,
      her mother, Linda Turner Smith of Wyandotte, OK, her brothers,
      Shay Smith of Wyandotte, OK and J.R. Knox of Vinita, OK, her sister
      Charissa Mathews of Glenpool, OK and 2 grandchildren, Hunter White and Drake White.
      Graveside Celebration of Life Services will be Thursday,
      May 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami. Roy Ross will officiate.
