      Sandra McClelland
      Sandra McClelland was born on May 12, 1949, in Oklahoma City, OK, and departed this life on Thursday, December 31, 2009, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 60. Sandra, the daughter of John Jerome and Clarabell (Emarthla) McClelland, was a resident of Claremore. She graduated from Rogers H.S. Sandra spent a lot of time on the election board, pow wows, sewing, cooking, spending time with family and playing cards. Sandra worked in the home health field as a caregiver and was of the Baptist faith. Parents and one sister, Terri Gibson preceded Sandra in death. Survivors include sisters, Pamela A. McClelland and Guy Burris of Claremore, Cheryl McClelland of Norman, Marilyn McClelland and Otis Tahdooahnippah of Grove, Jerri McClelland of Tulsa, Patsy and Alvin Bucktrot of Bixby; cousins, Allen Connor, Johnny Talawyma, J.D. Ross, Micco Emarthla, Shawn Emarthla, Robin Emarthla; 18 Nieces and Nephews. Tribal services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 9:00 AM, at the Sac and Fox Community Center in Stroud. Burial will be at the Sac and Fox Cemetery in Stroud on Sunday, January 3, 2010 following service. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
