Obituary for Rosa Leah WhiteEagle Jones Rosa Leah WhiteEagle Jones, 64, a resident of Wyandotte, Oklahoma passed away at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri on Monday, September 29, 2025. Rosa was born in Claremore, Oklahoma, on November 26, 1960, to James and Gloria (Watkins) White Eagle. Rosa worked for the Seneca Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma at the cigarette factory until retirement. When she was not working, she enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, doing puzzles, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Rosa is preceded in passing by her parents, James and Gloria White Eagle, husband, James Jones, and her brother, Kent White Eagle. Those left to share the beautiful memory of Mrs. Jones include her children, Lindsay Ann White Eagle, Malessia Jean Young, Leanne Kay Kier, Kelly Marie Young, and Nicholas Gene Young, five siblings, fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Rosa will be at the Seneca Cayuga Community Building from 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 until Noon, October 2, 2025. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
