Obituary for Pauline Klinefelter Pauline Rhodes Klinefelter, 94, a resident of Miami, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri. Pauline was born in Turkey Ford, Oklahoma, on August 18, 1931, to Bliss and Ida Guyami Rhodes. Pauline graduated from Miami High School with the class of 1951. She had perfect attendance throughout high school and was Valedictorian. After high school she obtained her associates degree at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. She worked for Phillips Petroleun in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, as a bookkeeper until returning to Miami where she was employed by Photo Abstract. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Miami. Pauline loved to volunteer her time. She volunteered for the Salvation Army, Pilot Club, and the American Red Cross. Mrs. Klinefelter is preceded in passing by her husband Howard Klinefelter, parents, Bliss and Ida Rhodes, sister, Arbery Rhodes, brother Robert Rhodes. Those left to share the beautiful memory of Mrs. Klinefelter include her sister, Sara Owens of Miami, stepdaughters, Kathy Yates and her husband Larry, and Kristi Trimble and her husband Randy of Tucson, Arizona, and their children. Pauline will also be missed by her many nephews and nieces. Graveside services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma. Services will be on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Wyandotte Cemetery in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Resource: Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service |
