      Ottie Delano Luther,
      74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 7, 2019
      in Bella Vista, AR. Ottie was born on August 4, 1945 in Fisher Flats, OK
      to his Parents, Otto Luther and June Shin-Luther. Ottie served in the
      United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was in the 1st Cavalry Division
      and received the Purple Heart. He worked many years with Tyson Poultry Industry
      as their Boiler Operator. He loved Coon hunting, all around hunting, fishing,
      riding horses and reading. His favorite book was the Bible and wanted to
      accomplish reading the Bible from front cover to back cover, he was halfway
      through before he reunited with his beautiful wife, Carla in Eternity. Now
      they are together again walking hand in hand with the Lord. Ottie was a member
      of Council House Church of Wyandotte, OK. His faith was strong and his passions
      were watching the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Team and spending time with his
      family and friends. Ottie is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and June Luther;
      his beloved wife of 47 years, Carla Luther. He is survived by his daughter,
      Tracy Wooten and husband Rodney of Jay, OK; 4 grandchildren, Morgan Wooten,
      Casen Brown, Cody Wooten and Wyatt Wooten all of Jay, OK; brother, Hubert Mapes
      and wife Maureen Mapes of Oregon; his precious fur babies, Tom the cat and several
      horses; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Ottie’s family
      visitation to greet friends will be held at Lawson’s Funeral Homes,
      722 N. 46th St., Grove, OK from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Thursday, October 10, 2019.
      Ottie’s Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 1:00pm,
      October 11, 2019 at Council House Church, Wyandotte, OK with Rev. Darwin King
      Officiating. Burial will be at Council House Cemetery, Wyandotte, OK with The
      United States Army Military Honors. Arrangements are entrusted to and under the
      direction of Lawsons Funeral Homes, 722 N. 46th St., Grove,
      OK 74344, Shaunda J. Lawson, Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
