    June 23, 1950 - June 21, 2009 Miami - Curtis J. Roberts, resident of rural Quapaw, died at home, Sunday, June 21, 2009, after a lengthy illness. He was 58. Mr. Roberts was born at Miami, on June 23, 1950. He was a graduate of Miami, with the class of 1968. He worked as a painter, for L & D Painting. He had lived in Gulfport, MS, and moved back to Miami in 1988. He is survived by his mother, Phylis McElhany of Miami, a daughter and her husband, Amber and Bryan Bradley, TX, two sisters and their husbands, Betty and Louis Labigang of Quapaw and Belinda and Bill Rich of Broken Arrow, a granddaughter, Bella Bradley, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father, Claude McElhany, and a sister, Carol Kerr..Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Council House Cemetery, Grove.
