      Joshua Ryan Nielsen, 34, of Fresno, CA, passed away on December 26, 2024.
      Born on November 29, 1990, Joshua's life was a vibrant journey deeply rooted in his love for nature and adventure.
      A spirited soul, Joshua was known for his profound connection to the outdoors, particularly fishing. His favorite spots around Fresno became his sanctuaries where he not only fished but also took on the role of a caretaker for the environment and its in-habitants.
      Joshua's respect for wildlife was evident in his actions, from cleaning up trash to rescuing animals and even assisting fellow river-goers in distress. His life, though cut tragically short, was marked by fearless pursuits and a commitment to making a difference.
      Beyond his outdoor adventures, Joshua was a cherished presence in the lives of those around him. Known for his humor and storytelling, he had the unique ability to bring laughter and light into any situation. His love for reading and animals showcased his gentle and compassionate spirit. Joshua's generosity knew no bounds; he was always ready to help the less fortunate, often going as far as to give his own belongings to aid others.
      Family was the cornerstone of Joshua's life. He is survived by his mother, Brandy; and Sisters, Hope and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Darryl Martin and his beloved great- grandparents, Cecil and Wanda Rogers. Each family member was touched profoundly by Joshua's big-hearted nature and his deep, bear-like hugs that will be dearly missed.
      A celebration of Joshua's life will be held at Reade and Sons, where family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Joshua can come together to honor his memory. His legacy of love, laughter, and aid to others will undoubtedly live on through each person he has influenced.
