James Schrimpsher, was born on October 26, 1887, in Oklahoma, his father, John, was 25 and his mother, Harriet Graeyeyes Guyama, was 19. He had three brothers and four sisters. He died on July 6, 1948, at the age of 60. James is buried at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery in Miami, Ottawa County, Oklahoma. Resource: newspapers.com
