    Oct. 30, 2006 Lela Mae Tootsie Golden of Wyandotte died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at the Family Care Center in Fairland. She was 85. Golden was born March 14, 1921, in Wyandotte to Harry S. and Vickie (Green) Whitetree. She was a Seneca-Cayuga Tribal member. She worked for the Wyandotte Public Schools. She married Lionel E. Golden on Jan. 14, 1941. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2002. Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Judy and Denny Kuhn of Wyandotte; two sons, Leland Golden and his wife Marilyn of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Douglas Golden; four grandchildren, TeNona Kuhn and Vicki Butterfield, both of Wyandotte, and Sean Golden and Kellie Golden, both of Tuscaloosa, and two great-grandchildren, Samantha Jo Butterfield and Zachary Butterfield, both of Wyandotte. Services were held at the Wyandotte Tribal Cemetery with the Rev. Don Staggs officiating.
