      Donald Dixon, 48 years, of North Miami, Okla., died March 26, 2005, at a local hospital in Joplin, after a short illness. Mr. Dixon was born on March 22, 1957, in Chinle, Ariz. He has lived in North Miami for the past 14 years after moving from Los Angeles, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Ginger Keyes and daughter, Desbah Dixon, both of the home; two daughters, Krystal Dixon and Nicole Dixon, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Seneca Price and her husband, Randle, Miami. He was the proud grandpa to Kyra Ravyn and Gunner Price, Miami. He is also survived by one brother, Steve Begay, of California; and two sisters, Patricia Begay, of Colorado, and Eileen Mark, Gallup, N.M. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amelia Bia; and one brother, Tobey Begay, they were both of Chinle, Ariz. He worked at Blitz USA and was a welder by trade. He proudly served in the United States Marien Corp for three years. Military rites will be performed graveside by American Legion Post No. 147, Funeral Detail of Miami, Okla. He was a member of the Navajo Nation. onald was also a member of the First Church of God in Miami. Mr. Dixon?s body will lay in state at the home, 208 Nebraska Street, North Miami, Okla. The family will receive friends and relatives there until the day of services. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at the First Church of God in Miami with the Rev. Kenneth Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in the G.A.R. Cemetery, under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home, of Miami. Published: 2005-03-29
