      Christina Smith Cummings of Grove died February 18, 1994 at a local nursing home, at the age of 91.
      Tena was born on December 29, 1902, in Quapaw, Oklahoma. She was a lifetime resident of the Council House community.
      She was a Quaker and member of the Friends Church. She was a Seneca-Cayuga tribal member.
      Her parents were Hiram and Lucy Spicer Smith. She married Henry Virgil Cummings.
      Survivors of Mrs. Cummings include one son, Melvin Reed and one daughter, Maxine Baumann.
      Interment: Council House Cemetary
