Basil Marvin Boyd Basil Marvin Boyd, 76, at his request. The Neptune Society is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Boyd, who died Tuesday, was born in Kettle Falls, Wash. He had lived in Coeur d'Alene for 11 years. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1946 to 1952. In 1958 he married Irene Walton. He worked as a logger and as a fire prevention technician for the Forest Servicer in the Winema National Forest in Oregon for many years. He was a member of the Peoria and Quapaw Indian tribes. His wife died in 1975. His second wife of seven years, Treva, died in 1984. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Boyd of Sacramento, Calif., and Benjamin Boyd of Ely, Nev.; four daughters, Pamela Boyer of Salem, Ore., Dawn Arrington and Katherine Lee, both of Coeur d'Alene, and Melodie Boyd of North Dakota; three sisters, Pearl, Beulah and Melba, all of Washington state; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
