    August 20, 2007 Edward Lee Bighorse Edward Lee Bighorse was born on September 7, 1960, in Orange County, California to Frank and Louise (Osage) Bighorse. He departed this life on Monday, August 20, 2007, in Rose, Oklahoma, at the age of 46 years, 11 months, and 13 days. Edward graduated from the Locust Grove High School in 1978. He had attended N.S.U. in Tahlequah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies with a Criminal Justice emphasis. He was currently working on his master’s degree. Edward spent most of his life in Locust Grove, except while he was serving his country in the United States Air Force. On December 17, 1982, at the Little Rock Baptist Church, Edward and Julia Mae Chuculate were united in marriage. Edward worked as a Tribal Employment Rights Manager for the Cherokee Nation. He was the manager of a team that won the National T.E.R.O. of the Year Award. Edward was a member of the Little Rock Baptist Church where he had been a Sunday School teacher and served as a youth director. He also held the Assistant Sunday School director position for the Cherokee Baptist Association. Edward was a member of the Tahlequah Leadership Society and President’s Honor Roll at N.S.U. He enjoyed being at church and liked playing softball and golf. Most of all, Ed loved being with his children, wife, and entire family. Edward is survived by: His wife: Julia, of the home; 4 children: Amanda Bighorse; Kyle Bighorse; Jennifer Bighorse; and Anthony Bighorse, all of the home; 1 grandson: Trace Bighorse of Locust Grove, OK;
